Rotating API Keys Guide

Rotating your API keys on a regular basis, such as every 90 days will lessen the chance that your API keys will be uncovered and mis-used by external parties.

We have prepared a guide for you to rotate API keys.

Kindly follow this guide for rotating your Brankas API keys:

1. Generate a new API key. (See: https://docs.brankas.com/docs/account-setup-guide#generate-api-key)
2. Update the new API key value in your production system
3. Delete the old API key from the dashboard
   1. Note: The API Key will only be invalidated once you delete the key

• Go to API key page
• Click the 3 dot icon on the right side
• Select Delete

A delete confirmation popup will appear afterwards

• Enter your account password
• Click Delete Key button
